"links" 17

 

Art and Revolution

In October 1917 the bolshevistic Revolution broke out in Russia and in November 1918 another revolution broke out in Germany and led to the birth of the Soviet Republic. These big political and social upheavals have deep influenced the literary and artistic production. The number 17 of “links” aims at exploring the relationship between art and revolution, which has been in the last decades somehow forgotten by literary studies. Not only the Avantgardes, such as Futurism and Dadaism, are strictly related to revolutionary utopias; German speaking authors and playwrights as well have analyzed the revolution both in the theory and in the artistic production.
The proposals, in English (maximum 300 words), should be senthe address: links.rivista@gmail.com and to the editor of the journal, Mauro Ponzi, mauro.ponzi@uniroma1.it, by February 28th, 2017.
The editorial committee will evaluate the abstracts and convey to the authors the papers that have been accepted for “links” 17. Contributions can be written in English, German, French or Italian.
 

Arte e Rivoluzione

Nell’ottobre del 1917 è scoppiata la rivoluzione bolscevica in Russia e nel novembre del 1918 la rivoluzione in Germania che ha portato alla nascita della Repubblica dei Consigli degli operai e dei contadini. Questi grandi rivolgimenti politici e sociali hanno avuto un effetto immediato nella produzione letteraria e artistica. Il numero 17 di “links” tratta il tema del rapporto tra arte e rivoluzione, che negli ultimi decenni è stato un po’ dimenticato dalla critica letteraria. Non solo le avanguardie futuriste e dadaiste hanno un rapporto stretto con le utopie rivoluzionarie, ma anche autori di teatro e scrittori di lingua tedesca hanno tematizzato la rivoluzione sia in termini artistico-produttivi sia in termini teorici.
Si invitano coloro che si sono occupati dell’argomento a proporre un saggio per “links”, inviando un abstract in inglese di max. 300 parole entro il 28 febbraio 2017 all’indirizzo della redazione, links.rivista@gmail.com e del direttore della rivista, mauro.ponzi@uniroma1.it.
Il comitato editoriale della rivista valuterà gli abstracts e comunicherà agli autori quali sono i saggi accettati e che quindi verranno pubblicati nel numero 17. Come è noto i saggi possono essere scritti in inglese, tedesco, francese, italiano.
